Supporting Nutritional, Medical, Educational and Environmental Outreach in South India.
Many of our programs – including Nutrition, Health Care, Education, Disaster Relief and the environment are centered in and around the small village of Thirumalaikodi, near Vellore City in The Vellore District, Tamil Nadu, South India.
Our program venues are diverse: activities take place on-site in local schools, hospitals and community centres in Vellore City, in rural areas and villages around Thirumalaikodi, or even in the remote Ghatt mountain ranges to the south and west of Vellore District.

Looking Towards The Future
Our Future Vision – A New Radiotherapy System (LINAC) For Cancer Treatments at Sri Narayani Hospital and Research Centre
And We’ll Double Your Impact!* In 2025, We’ll match your donation up to $10,000 in total for a net program benefit of $20,000!*
This ongoing fundraising campaign will purchase a state of art LINAC Varian TrueBeam Radiotherapy System for The Sri Narayani Hospital and Research Centre near Vellore in Tamil Nadu, South India. This equipment has been carefully chosen so that care teams at The Sri Narayani Hospital’s Oncology Department can harness transformative technology and expand treatment options for underserved patients. Additional medical units may include a double-photon energy unit, a brachytherapy afterloader (ideally for high dose-rate brachytherapy), a full range of applicators, a CT simulator, a computerized treatment planning system (TPS), patient immobilization devices, and equipment for beam measurement and quality assurance.
Our goal is to ensure that the equipment we donate are utilized directly and efficiently to provide easier access to high quality health care for rural people in India. Everything we provide is self-determined by the local communities we support. We buy world-class medical equipment directly from Indian or overseas suppliers who deliver, install, and warranty the equipment. Our world class equipment is installed directly into the charitable hospitals that we support. This advanced equipment can be found in developed countries all around the globe.
Cancer often requires relatively expensive, complex, multimodal medical treatment for extended periods, leading to household impoverishment, treatment abandonment, and, too often, poor outcomes, especially if the disease is detected at a later stage or patients cannot adhere to a full regime of treatment.
*Donations made will be matched through 2025 to a total program amount of C$10,000 through new donations for a total program impact of $20,000.

Our charitable partners in South India also organize various outreach programs to provide clothing, blankets and other basic personal supplies and amenities to impoverished individuals, families and differently abled individuals in small communities in this district of South India. We assist at risk families and groups with special needs in the area, with particular attention to families with only one wage earner, often in very remote areas.
