Here at Canadians Sharing Locally and Globally Charity, we really appreciate your hard-earned gifts that support this and our many other programs. To make your gift go further, we’re going to match it in 2026 and 2027 all the way through to January 4, 2027 up to C$100,000.
There’s more – we’ll make your gift go even further! Not only are we all volunteers here with no paid staff, the expense of our few operational costs, including rent, internet, accounting and office materials, is donated by the founders of Canadians Sharing Charity.
Our Medical Program Goal is to improve access to good quality health care for people that generally would not be able to reach it. We work in conjunction with locally defined health care initiatives to support access to high quality medical services. With the guidance of the Registered Charities in India that we support, we are advised of local health care conditions and initiatives. As a result of the guidance, we donate urgently needed medical, optical and dental equipment, vitamins, supplements and minerals, as well as medicines and medical disposables.
We also support free medical clinics that go out to extremely rural villages and underserved urban neighbourhoods. The clinics offer specific health information and medicines for common local health conditions. Our programs also include traditional medical initiatives (Ayurveda) and medical advice delivered freely to those in need.
*Donations made will be matched in 2026-2027 through our Medical Outreach Fund to Jan 4, 2027 to a total of C$100,000 through new donations for a total program impact of C$200,000.
One of the hospital groups that we support is The Sri Narayani Hospital and Allied Medical Services Group. The Hospital Group motto is “Service With Love” and the purpose of this organization is to decommercialize medicine and make quality health care accessible, to incorporate human values in medical care and to include spiritual well being as a medical concept. This is the main campus and The Nursing College and other colleges and hospitals are on auxiliary sites.
