Nursing and a three and a half year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery. Of the 75 Private colleges in Tamil Nadu, the Sri Narayani College of Nursing is considered one of the best. Young women with a minimum 12 years study with physics, chemistry and biology are accepted into the college.  Nursing students come through a variety of local communities, from government subsidies as well as student allotments from Scheduled Tribes.

All of the nursing students in this assembly received Canadians Sharing Nursing Scholarships to support attainment of their nursing degrees.

Our scholarships support low income, often first-generation nursing support for their tuition which helps to pay for food and accommodation, facility expenses, books, study materials and uniforms.  The scholarships and applications are free of cost and anyone studying for nursing in the college or applying to the college can apply.
